The Rotary Clubs of Campbelltown and Unley will be working together to provide a sausage sizzle BBQ for children from Special Schools at the Variety Club Day at the Zoo. The clubs sponsor the BBQ and provide supporting staff. The key requirement will be for cooks, servers and runners for the event. Each club will be required to provide around 15 members, partners and friends who can help. Please advise soonest if you can be at the Zoo between the hours shown. This is a fun day and a chance to provide hands on and financial support. Costs will be borne by the two clubs. The only cost to volunteers may be parking, although some free parking may be available. Tonight, we welcome our new group the “Youngs Friends of Unley Rotary”. What would Rotary or life be without an acronym “YFUR”. These are a group established by Rhonda and the New Generations team. They have mostly attended Rotary youth programmes and form part of the club’s alumni. I am sure this will be an entertaining evening as they introduce themselves and talk about their plans. Join us to make them welcome and who knows this may be the Genesis of a group of younger people who may ultimately join Rotary and bring it into new generation thinking. |

No Speaker - Member Only Meeting, please note I am still using Damiens as the name of our meeting place, it will change and when I know I will advise. Our meeting next week, is a committees meeting. For this meeting,as new committees are not yet known, the following is suggested. Please meet with your current committee and go through your year, identifying the highs and lows and what you would continue, any changes, and what you would not continue. This should take us up to 7pm and I will arrange for the meal to be served then or thereabouts. Following the meal at about 7.20, each Director will give a five minute feedback to the club. This to be followed by our usual meeting activities. |
